Review summary

As a cruiser who does not cruise for food the good news is everything else was fine.While the ship,built in 2002,refurbished 2013 was fine, but not a knockout,it did have important assets.The main dining room was fine the theater had updated

electronics to support fine entertainment the cabin,pool and general public areas were fine as was the cruise director and staff.

Now the bad news.

Dinners were mediocre the lunch buffet was horribleThere was no effort in presentation,food accessibllity(we had to reach under a low glass shield,with a very uncooperating tongs and then bring the snared food back toward us dropping some in the effort)which was rarely tastful or hot.

I thought i was in the Helps dining room

"Bitter" - the classic response from a man (always a man), who is grasping for something, and who can't stick to the subject. Were we not talking about the food...? Again, I don't know why you have booked a cruise at all, or how you can even have opinions at all!

Surfergirl you are not reading the reviews perhaps it's the strength of your glasses, the initial review by the traveller was precise and to the point, they are entitled to their comments but you appear to take umbrage at other peoples reviews if they are negative ones. For your information I have two cruises booked this year with a third in the offing. Who loves cruising baby. Roll on the Regent.

To state that the food was "horrible", is definitely NOT being perfectly correct!! ---It's more or less like saying, that the food was pure and utter garbage. You don't even say that about Mc Donald's, hence it's being something that doesn't mould in 6 years even!!!!

A good review from illaho4, you are perfectly correct in your assessment of the cruise, food etc, you are entitled to make positive as well as negative comments. Don't take any notice of the adverse comments above. I for one would much rather see your comments than the fictitious ones posted, AND before the doubters start getting on their high horses I have also provided good as well as bad review

I love the food...any restaurant have it's own issue but have you try the brekfast at the main restaurant or at the blue? ...

"Horrible" is a pretty strong word - I'd think you're just spoiled or picky. In my opinion the food was tasty and absolutely fine! You're scaring other people away, by exaggerating and not using the exact terms. Think about that others are taking this as a serious review!

We just returned today. I agree, the lunch buffet was the worst. We did everything we could to stay away from it.
