First - casino is non-smoking as is most of the ship! This was our second Celebrity cruise. We would have never booked with them again had we not had an excellent experience the first time. Due to the check-in debacle caused by port staff, many guests were unhappy before they even boarded the ship. That may have set the tone for many guests. Once we were onboard, we proceeded to have a GOOD TIME, as you always should. You're on vacation! One thing that was most disappointing was to hear was the number of guests complaining about things, that the onions for their omelet weren't cooked enough or they didn't have the particular type of wine they wanted, etc. Get over it! They don't have the beer I prefer either, but there were plenty of other options. My biggest complaint would be that there is no dedicated "line" for food, meaning you can be waiting patiently and people just cut in from all over where the food is actually located. I found this to be the case no matter what area of the buffet I was at. People, be respectful of others. You see the line, go to the end of it. Second complaint is a cruise ship regular one. Saving pool chairs and never showing up to sit in them. That will never go away. All of the staff on the ship were very friendly and accommodating. The food at the buffet wasn't always at the correct temperature and they easily ran out of items at the carving station. The salad bar area had many excellent options for toppings. One evening in the dining room, my husband's prime rib arrived cold but that was an isolated incident. Dining room food was very good. Try the beef cheeks! During the muster drill, there was no control over the guests, everyone was talking loudly and you were unable to hear the instructions. Overall, we had a very good time. How can you not when you're out on the beautiful ocean!

Cabin / Stateroom
Cabin itself was ok, but the shower was moldy and the bed skirt was ripped in many places. When we first arrived, the bathroom smelled of urine, but our room steward took care of it. Closet and drawer space is adequate. Refrigerator did not get cold enough. Balcony space is good for two people with plenty of room to move around.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
The check-in process in Ft. Lauderdale was a nightmare. Only two people were taking ship card photos (not the ones you buy, the ones they identify you by), one for regular passengers and one taking them for premier guests. Long lines and no one seemed to know what they were doing. This was not the fault of ship staff, it was the disorganization of port staff. Disembarkation was easy, but a joke. We were told to wait in the theater until our number was called. There was no staff there and no announcements at all were made. Our time was supposed to be 9:35, but we decided to just go down and walk off. No problem and no one questioned us. We were off the ship by 8:45.
Ship Quality
Overall the ship was ok, but our room (balcony) was in need of a little help. The shower was moldy and the skirt on our bed was ripped in many places.
Destinations and Excursions
Key West was nice. Nassau was very crowded due to four ships in port.
Just your usual cruise ship entertainment.
Service and Staff
Bartenders at the Sunset Bar were excellent! Overall, the staff everywhere on the ship were very nice and friendly.
Food and Dining
Dining Room food was very good. Buffet food was just so-so, not always at a good temperature.
Key West, Florida
Get on the street cam in front of Sloppy Joes and call your friends to stream it so they can see you! Fun! And a visit to The Peppers of Key West on Greene St is a must!
Nassau, Bahamas
Nassau is fun to walk around if there aren't too many ships in port. The island tour is nice if you get the right tour guide. Find free wifi.

With Celebrity Select dining, our wait for a table wasn't too long (we never made reservations), but you may have to wait a little longer for service once seated. Tip the bartenders and make friends with them. It will work in your benefit!
