Review summary

We enjoyed our cruise on the Constellation very much. This was our 6th cruise and will always be one of our favorites. Our stateroom (inside) was more than adequate (we were not there much anyway). The entertainment was excellent everywhere from the great acts in the theatre to the various bands in the lounge areas including the party band, a string quartet, an awesome duo, and a guitarist. You really never needed to leave the ship unless you wanted to. We always went ashore if only for a little while, and the embark/debark always went smoothly (a rare thing in our experience). Our favorite stop was Panama since we had never been there and wanted to see the Canal. We took the Ferry Locks Tour and highly recommend it.

Puerto Limon, Costa Rica

We have heard many good things about Costa Rica, but were not impressed with this port. We did not take any tours here, but got off to walk around. After getting about a block into the city, we turned around and went back to the ship. All ot the young children begging for a handout was very sad.

If you have never been to the Canal, take the Ferry tour of the Locks. We were bussed to Gamboa where we boarded the Ferry and cruised thru 2 of the 3 locks to the Pacific side. We had a guide who was very informative and explained the history and the workings of the locks.

Don't Miss: Canal tour.

Been there before, but always like to get off and walk around a bit. There is a great free snorkelling area just to your right as you exit the ship. Also, a bar called Paradise where you can sip a Margarita and watch the snorkelling and ships.

Don't Miss: Snorkelling, the water is clear as crystal.

Been here before, but again the snorkelling is great. Pancho's Garden has great Margaritas.

First time here, and we enjoyed it very much. Hope to come back soon. We took the Taste of the Island Tour and recommend that if you are new. Went to see the "Broken Bridge", the Aloe plant tour, and the waves on the North shore.
