Review summary

We have sailed RCL and Celebrity many times--our favorite cruise line company. Lately, we have really enjoyed the Edge class of ships three times, most recently, the Ascent. The layout of the ship, its amenities, and the balcony cabins with the additional space, is wonderful.

Oceanview Cafe, deck 14, has unbelievable food choices and you can dine outside on the stern if you wish. We love that the Ascent (Edge class) has four (4) "main dining rooms" to select from. Parties of more than two should consider reservations.

Onboard Activities

Solarium with no children was appreciated.

Two production shows as expected. We had a terrific comedienne, Monique Marvez.
