Embarkation

We were a multi-national couple and feared the worst, but our experience was very smooth. Our worries were for nothing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We preferred the Cyprus restaurant over all the others, although half of the menus were shared with the other 3 main dining restaurants. At Cyprus we particularly enjoyed Jorge as a very courteous, knowledgeable, and overall great dining experience. He remembered our names and our dining selection from 6 days prior! His assistant, Ulum, was also very helpful and always tended to our table. He always had a smile and never forgot about us, even during the mad rush of the early dinner hours as well as remembering us and saying hi during breakfast hours.

Onboard Activities

Whirlpools were fantastic

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We went to them all, and almost all were spectacular, except for Michelle Dowdy. She showed up on stage with a wardrobe malfunction and proceeded to expect everyone to stay and watch. We found it distasteful and not deserving of the audiences attention. We, along with many others, proceeded to leave the show. All others likes Magic Bones, late night comedy with Ralph Harris, and even Captain Tasos and our cruise director Luigi were extremely funny and kept everyone entertained throughout our 1 week cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Best waiter: Jorge - See note above Best waiter assistant: Ulum - See note above Best room steward: Afsar - God bless his patience and cleaning our rooms at least twice daily! Cruise Director: Luigi - Personally thanked us for being there, showed interest, talked to us, and remembered us throughout the cruise. We loved his TV channel in the mornings to guide us through the day's events. Great idea Luigi! His energy never seems to run out and constantly kept everyone entertained.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Always clean, always well-maintained. Great design, just make sure you review the app before you board. It was confusing to us on the first couple days, but then we got used to it and knew our way around.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect size for us, although we had an obstructed view with a life boat just under us. I blame that on the booking site though and not the cabin itself. The cabin itself was great and they kept it very clean.

Ship tip

Don't upgrade to premium drink package (they try very hard to get you to on day 1). You can get almost any drink on the classic beverage package, you just have to ask.

Disembarkation

As a first time cruiser with an early arrival and late flight, we didn't understand the latest time we could possibly stay on the ship. It just seemed like they wanted everyone off at a certain point.
