We have always enjoyed Carnival but this particular ship we wouldn't travel on again. Also there was so much anxiety regarding the ship's speed and if we'd even get to go due the ship being suspended for travel in September. This was our first Halloween cruise and thought there'd be more festive activities and there zero Halloween movies which was strange and confusing. Like why not ?
more ship decor. Also we had a medical center emergency situation, and while inside the lady hovered and hovered. We paid a doctor visit in which he only spoke to our daughter , so we shouldn't have to pay for that portion. Also , we needed a band-aid and had to pay we feel that should be courtesy thing. Overall , our cruise was memorable due our doing. We appreciated the togetherness and we are thankful. But what we paid, we feel the overall experience should be up to exceptional standards. we only vacation like this once a year so it should be phenomenal .

The food was okay taste wise, mostly bland but understand it's made in bulk portions to serve. Bein able to dine together was actual enjoyable. The food is also limited and the variety of items are in heavy rotation. SO this feels as if we are recycling the same dinner choices, especially the deserts. The desserts never changed or were switched up.
Onboard Activities

The activities or shows are catered to a certain group of people. For instance, Taylor Swift event . The pools were crowded and the jacuzzies, there were people who stayed in for hours at a time. There should be monitoring of switch outs. My family and I never got the opportunity to get in one. Never, even after many attempts of checking. That's a highlight for me and frankly, there wasn't enough staff around to monitor that . We came for relaxation and jacuzzi time is a big part which we couldn't get to.
Entertainment

The performers are always great, they provide a professional performance. It's just the shows are repetitive and lack variety for all people's entertainment purposes. Should be more than Deal or No deal for an example.

Our Room Steward Leonardo was FANTASTIC! He was kind, personable, also available when needed, great personality, helpful, friendly and professional.
Some Bartenders and guest service members were short tempered and didn't seem to smile or want to talk to help with matters.

Ship was clean and I personally appreciated the layout of this ship. I loved how many hand washing stations there were. And I restrooms seemed to be conveniently able to be located when needed.

Our head room keeper Leonardo also kept our cabin clean and nice. Food was also disposed of in a timely manner. The Cabin itself was just what we expected as we have cruised in a balcony cabin multiple times, so we are familiar
Ship tip
Be prepared for everything to make sure that you make sure your cruise is entertaining for you. There are so many things that you will get bored of or will not be able to even get to do.
The private island was crowded. And the buffet wasn't announced really and/or wasn't made accessible . The buffet shut down early and it was just okay , many flies over food.
Easy in and out process. We did do an excursion. But the time to stay on this island was cut incredibly short. We should have the whole day to explore the island. It's certainly what we paid for and to not get to spend time was frustrating to say the least. We didn't want to rushed to get back on the ship prematurely.
The time in which it takes to exit the ship is too long and unorganized. There are people sitting all over the place waiting to exit one door when there could be or should be two. People are ready to exit the ship when its over and this process should be alt more smooth and clear for all guests. So many guests seemed confused about getting in lines to exit,etc. It's extremely unorganized , uncertain People are literally sittiig on top of one another waiting to leave and for mor ethan an hour.g.
