Review summary

2 1/2 hours late boarding Changed itinerary and went to the ghetto of the Bahamas for $300 less Food at main dining room was something you would get from a fast food joint Specialty dining was great Toilet wouldn't flush due to a switch problem had to have maintenance come 3 times before it got fixed

My sister was scheduled on this cruise and accepted carnival’s offer, which was generous. Cruise ships can change itineraries without compensation. It sounds like someone was irritated, didn’t take the refund and compensation and now thinks they’re entitled to more than they even paid. I don’t get how people hate their vacations.

cbyron already commented what I was thinking. Our friends were to be on this cruise, however once they received notification they cancelled and booked another cruise.

cbyron...it is true. I was on this exact sailing. we had the option (days prior) to cancel and get a full refund plus you could get reimbursed so much for airfare as well or sail and recieve $200 obc. what this person also failed to mention, is carnival said to delay your check in time by 30 minutes. to the op.. no cruise line has a set boarding time. they started boarding as soon as customs gave the all clear. you can also thank the delayed boarding due to the 12-14 idiots that wouldn't get off. it's obvious this person went with a bad attitude. glad I never ran into them

I thought Carnival gave guests the option to get a refund if they didn't like the new itinerary and offered on board credit? I guess that wasn't true.

Labor Day Vista Cruise

Glad to be back on carnival

It was ok due to the change in the route. However our cabin steward Jocelyn was amazing and she made our trip amazing!!
