Food and Dining

Buffets were good but the food in the dining room was very substandard. The prime rib was tough and I got a steak one night that was raw. Steak two other times was mostly gristle.

Onboard Activities

The new skyline ride was pretty cool but that was the highlight of the cruise.

Entertainment

The shows were the same as previous cruises. Need new shows each year. The cruise director was the saving grace.

Service and Staff

Our cabin stewards were amazing and our dining room staff was great but didn’t make up for the poor food quality.

Ship Quality

Ship design was good but the ship was dirty. Our balcony was just about unusable. They cleaned the balcony windows on our last port day but missed most of the dirt.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was clean and well kept but the balcony was very dirty. The ship just came out of dry dock and you would have thought it would have been cleaned outside before being put back in service.

Ship tip

Don’t. Since we were on it the ship has had engine problems twice.

Debarking was miserable. We carried our luggage off but people were coming from everywhere before their group was called and nobody was stopping them.

The Vista came out of dry dock 5 months before your cruise!! And yes it’s hot everywhere in July!!
