This was a nice cruise that focused on enjoying the thermal suite more than the ports. Good food, nice entertainment, and a talented cruise director, Lawrence.

Nice variety of food. Carnival has partnered with Emeril's and added different selections to the dinner menu. I didn't care for the barbecue sauces on the fish, but they were easily scraped off. The addition of various salads as dinner entrées was also welcome.
Onboard Activities

The sky rider was fun! It was too wet and windy to try the ropes course, but it looked great! The fitness center was spacious and well equipped.
Entertainment

Good rock band. High energy production shows. Country duet. Violin trio was awesome! The comedians were fun and amusing.
The 4th and 5th floor inside promenades were limited to one side of the boat, so the corridors were crowded at certain times. The outside walking promenade was blocked off for the Havana suites so we were limited to the upper deck jogging track for outside walking. Unfortunately, the outer decks were closed for two days due to wind and rain.

Ship tip
If you're going in the winter, the spa room is definitely worth it! The thermal suite was well maintained and spacious enough that we never waited for a lounge chair.
