We love to cruise. This was our first time on the Vista. Galveston is a great port to leave from. We are from California and were treated very welcoming. Considering we were at max capacity we still did not feel crowded. Enjoy her after her dry dock and upgrades 👍

Once we got through the traffic we were on board in 20 minutes. Very smooth embarkation process.

We mostly are at Blue Iguana, Guy Burgers, deli, lido buffet, Bonsai, Pig and Anchor and seafood shack. We did not eat in the main dinning room or speciality restaurants.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The comedian’s on the ship we saw were good, Kirk and Kenny. Both were funny. We went to 2 shows and they were good. We watched football in the sports bar, get there early it is limited seating. We played shuffleboard in the Red Frog Pub and listened to Karaoke there one night, very crowded but great singers. Hung out at the pool on Lido. Listened to some of the musicians and enjoyed them. Did some casino time, usually crowded just be patient to get a seat.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
All the shows , music venues and comedy shows we attended were very good.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the employees we met were very friendly and met our expectations. Never without a drink😂 we had the cheers package. Our Room Steward Edy was awesome. Our room was located in a middle hallway 6336 and it was very quiet and no one running in the halls. Inside cabin was very large and roomy.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship was very clean. Some of the elevator buttons did not work on one side. The ship is going into dry dock this November so it will get all cleaned up and upgraded.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very large for an inside room. Plenty of storage space. Our room was in a middle hallway and it was quiet and close to elevators without having the hallway noise.
Ship tip
We were at max capacity so just be patient for elevators. Get to the show early they open doors 30 minutes before the show. If you tend to get cold bring a sweater or shawl or a coverup. There are spots on board which are cold.
We love this port. We got off and did a package for the beach at the port. There were four of us. We had the overhead lift round trip a lounge with 4 waters and use of the food/bar service and use of the lagoon with a mat to use in the water. Cost was only $120 total. Then we paid for alcohol and food. Well worth the price. Spent the whole day there.
We flew to Hobby airport on the Thursday before our sail date. Took Uber to Galveston. On Friday we walked along the sea wall and took the trolley car to downtown Galveston and shopped, ate and had a few drinks. It is beautiful there. We attended the meet and greet at the Spot Restaurant and the food was delicious.
We have been here many times. We walked through the shops. Must of the shops had the same merchandise. The port is very clean. We took a picture along the waterway. No excursion.
Not a fan of Belize. We tendered in and spent a few hours walking in and out of the shops. We went to one restaurant for an appetizer and drink. The prices were very high and the staff there were not very friendly. It was called Bourbon and ?.
As a Platinum member we met in a designated spot and rolled our own luggage off. It was very fast. An uber was available as we excited and she took us right to Hobby airport.
