Entry level cruise and ship. We paid nearly $7,000 for this cruise and it was probably worth $2,000. It was our first cruise and we won’t cruise Carnival again.

Food and Dining

Buffet was terrible. Main dining room was better but much of the food would arrive cold or be of poor quality.
Onboard Activities

Shows, music, pubs, music, shopping, pools, spa, pretty much everything except the casino.

Room steward was amazing. Bar staff wasn’t very good and had difficulty making certain cocktails.

Poor consideration for guests on deck 14. Only two elevators serve this deck and much of my trip was standing around waiting on an elevator. They could fix this if they wanted to. If they don’t have a clue, call me. My fee to improve your customer satisfaction isn’t a lot.
Beat stop. Port area is clean with a bunch of shops and places to eat and drink. We went to the all inclusive beach on the catamaran and the day was fantastic.
My wife and daughter sailed her in a balcony roomon a 7 day. With transportation, gratuity, money spent at 4 ports, extra tips, etc. It only came to around 3100 hundred. If you used a TA, you may want to switch up. Try Disney. That 7K should get you an interior room.
That sucks that you had a bad experience, but you're really ready to give up on the whole cruise line over 1 bad cruise on 1 bad ship? I don't like the Vista either, but that hasn't deterred me from booking other Carnival ships. $7000? Well you must have had the biggest balcony suite on the whole ship, prepaid gratuities, got the drink package, paid for ALL the specialty restaurants, and did all the additional paid activities. You probably even spent a couple thousand in the casino and the fun shops. I can't imagine a regular 7 day cruise fare for 2 on the Vista costing $7000 at all. We cruises on the Vista in an ocean view over the week of the Superbowl & Valentine's day in 2022 and it cost us $600.
Three in my family sailed on her for 7 nights about several years ago for under 2,600 total including tips and car rental. Sorry you did not have a good time. Thank you for your review.
Must have added in travel, booze and other charges. The room most likely was about $3500 for 2. We will probably never know, this was a one way crosspost from WTH.
