Review summary

Relaxing break from weather at home but not as good as past cruises

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Well organized and quickly onto ship to muster station for safety briefing. We were in our stateroom napping for almost 3 hours before our bags arrived.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Cucina and 555 Steakhouse were outstanding in both quality and service. MDR was not up to previous cruise experiences; food quality was mediocre and service spotty, even forgetting side dishes until reminded. Sea day breakfast was good but HUB reservation app was not responsive

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Havana pool area was relaxing and well maintained

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Pendulum Heart performances were enjoyable

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff were constantly cleaning, smiling and friendly all the time. Lots of housekeeping staff everywhere but customer service areas (bars, buffet, etc) were seriously short staffed leading to long lines

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Less closet, shelf, and drawer space than balcony cabins on past cruises. Lanai was nice but sliding door was very difficult to lock securely and it rattled almost constantly. Refrigerator was slightly cooler than room air but not really cold. Had to replace wife’s key card 3 times because it kept failing to unlock the door.

Ports of call

Belize City, Belize

3 out of 5
Tender to port was so crowded many passengers stood the entire time.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

4 out of 5
Been there several times. Only left ship to use wifi on shore

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Reflections dining room area was too small for the number of priority departure classes - self-carry + assisted + diamond + platinum. Once luggage was collected, facial recognition allowed easy exit from terminal
