Review summary

Had a blast on the Vista. First time cruising with Louis as Cruise Director, and he was amazing. The Fun Squad was as well. The weather played a factor on Sea Days which was a bummer, but as always, we make the most of it.

Embarkation

There was a delay due to the ship coming in 2 hrs late. Embarkation was a mess as appointments were pushed up an hour. I confirmed with staff that they weren't going by the zones, but they are just getting everyone on the ship as soon as possible.

A couple of shows were canceled due to performers being sick, but they always try to make the most of it.

Cabin was standard for a balcony. We had one light that was out that was repaired on Day 2.

Ship tip

Be mindful of potential fog delays coming back to port. You can be delayed a bit and that can cause havoc on your travel arrangements.

Went to Paradise Beach. Enjoyed it a little more than Mr. SANCHOS a month prior. Staff was very attentive and quick with service.

Wife had a good time going to 7 mile beach with friends.

I can’t believe I missed reviewing.
We had a good time on the cruise. It was our 3rd time on the Vista and we really enjoy the ship. We really enjoyed the ports but didn’t do any excursions in Jamaica or Cozumel. We did go to Hell in Grand Cayman. That was really a fun stop for us.
