Review summary

Overall the cruise was a great time with my family. The water pressure and the lack of hot water had me extremely disappointed. Vista needs an overhaul or a makeover. In the dining area near the desert buffet water constantly drips. There was a dog on this cruise licking crumbs underneath the buffet area. It was a lot going on this cruise. This cruise had highs and lows but I’m thankful I had the chance to make memories with my family.

Flawless! I’m glad they made some changes!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food this time around was okay. My son said it was cafeteria food. The taste and the quality went down from our previous cruise with Carnival.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was plenty of things to do. If you found yourself bored ahem welllll I don’t think it was the cruise at all.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We went to Deal or no Deal and bingo. Deal or no Deal was excellent! Savannah the host was entertaining and engaging. Bingo…hmmm it wasn’t what I expected. I would have rather had the hosts rattle off numbers versus saying jokes that weird borderline inappropriate, racial charged…just not my thing.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
I love the process with the kids club. My kids shared that they enjoyed themselves so no complaints!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
From our boats in the Lido dining area Virginia the hostess, our waiters on different nights Warino, Richard, and Jennifer. They work hard and were very pleasant, entertaining and a joy to be around!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
We aren’t perfect but some areas needed a little more attention than others.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Overall the room was clean, however the curtains had presumably cigarette holes in them and the charging port was missing. For 2 days we were without hot water. An onboard credit was applied in the amount of $50 per person, however for the cost we paid for the trip it should have been more. When we returned to our cabin from our excursion there wasn’t any hot water and the water pressure was low. At first it wasn’t addressed until the second day.

Ship tip

It’s a great time with family make sure that you don’t have a cabin above the dining area or you will wake up to noises in the middle of the night from the floor above.

George Town, Grand Cayman

It was a pass for me. It reminded me of an outdoor flea market. Not much to see and do…you’re just there hoping to get a great deal.
