The food was horrible!!! Over cooked and dried out! This was by for the worst food that I’ve had on Carnival.

Entertainment was boring except Military appreciation day. Director was extremely boring.

Some of the staff was rude!! Guest services acted as if they didn’t want to be bothered! I had a birthday package and never received my birthday package or informed that they were out of stock even though the package was paid 6 months prior..

The cabin -suite was nice. I gave 4stars because of the location of the cabin. It was in front of the ship and people were able to look over onto our balcony and see inside our cabin if we didn’t have the curtains closed.

We sailed on the Vista in Feb and had a blast. It wasn’t up to pre-Covid standards, but what is? I have a question though. How can everything suck (1 ⭐️) except for embarkation and your cabin? Plus you withheld gratuities?? That tactic has never been celebrated on any review that I’ve read on here. If you are a new cruiser and reading this review, don’t follow that tip / advice.

If the customer facing staff don’t care about gratuities going to the rest of the crew by giving top notch service, why is it the cruiser’s responsibility to still subsidize their wages? The crew take on multiple contracts and know what the pay is. They keep coming back! Ask them how many contracts they’ve been on, and they will tell you. If I encountered the issues the reviewer did, I’d at least yank half my gratuities back as a lesson for them to train and retrain their customer contact people.

Sorry you didn’t enjoy your cruise and encountered some rude staff, but remember gratuities also go to the staff you don’t see but who work so hard to try and make your cruise great.

I understand you didn't have a great experience, but don't punish the entire staff by withholding gratuities. They work really hard and don't make a lot of money.

We have nen on the Vista twice and both cruises have been great. The last time we were on the Vista was March 12th for 7 day out of GALVESTON TX.
