First time on Vista
We took a 7 day trip to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Good time!

Food and Dining

Room service was our go to breakfast. Lunch was typically the Marketplace. MDR was our. Hoice for dinner, except when we chose JiJis. Food was plentiful, tasty and at the correct temperature. No complaints. The Quatro pizza was a great mid-evening snack.
JiJi Asian Kitchen

Wow! You can't go wrong here. We LOVED this place! We received a free appetizer, then 2 more appetizers, 2 mains and 2 desserts. It is served "family style" so there was no coveting thy neighbor's meal. Haha. You can have some of it all. We will dine here again.
Onboard Activities

We tried to play putt putt, but it was too windy. The bowling game in the clubhouse was broken. I discovered that AFTER I had given it $4.50 for some games. We wanted to ride the sky bike, but never could catch it open. Trivia games were fun, and karaoke was entertaining.
Entertainment

Comedy shows were funny, except Kristen....not sure if she is normally funny, but these were not good shows for her. The Playlist Production shows were good, but at times, it seemed like too many were on stage at a time. We also enjoyed several shows at rhe IMAX theater.
Service and Staff

Carnival staff always impresses. I understand they are short staffed right now, but I never wanted for anything on this cruise. Bar staff in the casino was even pretty quick.
Ship Quality

No complaints. Room always tidy when we returned.
Cabin / Stateroom

Quiet interior cabin. It should be noted there is no couch and only ONE closet for hanging items instead of the two I am used to seeing in cabins.
Ship tip
Use the ship maps in the elevator bays. Pay attention to the numbers on the elevators to see which floors they service. WASH YOUR HANDS OFTEN! Covid is still lingering on Vista.
Stingray, Hell, Turtles
This was very rushed. Too many things packed into one excursion. All the things were good, just too short of a time spent on each one.FYI, stingray photos were $60 extra and not included in the excursion price.
Slow today, but there was an onboard death and from what I understand, several arrests. I wasn't overly bothered. Once it got started, it went quickly.
