Review summary
It was not fun. The mechanical problem caused us to lose a port stop to the Cayman Island. It caused us to be an extra 2 days on the ship because it was slow moving. The port in Jamaica got severely overwhelmed due to all the excursions getting pushed into one. We were on a time restraint so Jamaica and Cozumel got cut short. We could smell the fumes in around the elevators which 1/2 the time didn't work. The A/C was not at full capacity of cooling. The hours of breakfast was late at 7a.m and lunch at 12. need be earlier hours. The staff and crew were great, the food was good and the casino was nice. Paying over $2k for a nice vacation but being deceived by Carnival running a ship with known problems was not putting the safety and potential health hazards of the people first. It's about the money. WE will never do this particular cruise again. We would love to go the Cayman Island which is why we chose this itinerary. There were 4k people on this cruise and I know 80% were very upset about the whole thing.Embarkation

Ship tip
Don't do it. They know they have a mechanical problem and won't fix it.
