This was a full capacity cruise. All the other cruises I have been on, before the pandemic were always at full capacity, so I am used to it. It was a pretty perfect cruise. The weather at the ports were in the 90’s except for Cozumel. Galveston was freezing on the night before the cruise. We stayed in the Harbor House the night before and loved it So convenient to walk to the port. We ate at Willie G’s and it was probably the best fish I have ever had. Delicious. It was very relaxing and laid back. Didn’t stress about anything!

So CLEAN!!!!!!always cleaning. It took a minute to figure out where things were but no problems after that! We had an Havana stateroom and loved how quiet it was.

The best cabin choice. Loved the aft facing Havana balcony rooms. It was so beautiful looking off the back of the ship at the ocean. So quiet!!! Will definitely book here again.
Ship tip
Be prepared to wait in long lines at guest services if you have a problem you need taken care of.
So much fun. I loved this port. We did the Monkeys, Sloths and Macaws and Iguanas. We also stopped at a cute craft mall. Alex, our guide did a great job. It is a fun port to walk around too. Good shopping.
I have been here several times. I snorkeled at Channaknab, not sure how to spell it. It was just ok. Didn’t see many fish. The lunch was just ok. It rained for several minutes. I ate lunch during this time, so it wasn’t a problem. The seal show was really cute.
I didn’t try the virtual queue at guest services. I saw people using it and I was wondering what all you can use it for. I would definitely check it out on my next cruise.
We are booked in a Havana room on the Vista as well. Have never stayed in one. Thanks for answering my concerns about the noise. If you don’t mind me asking, what room were you in?
Appreciate your detailed review. We have been spoiled by the lower occupancy of the recent cruises. On one hand I’m happy to hear that things are back to “normal” on the other I liked being spoiled. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.
