Review summary

This was a great ship with a great staff going on an excellent itinerary! What more can you ask for!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Galveston is our favorite port for embarking on a great cruise. We always park at “Indoor Cruise Parking”, take the short complimentary shuttle to the ship, drop our luggage off with a porter and begin the process. It is always a smooth and fast process. I think the longest time it has ever taken to get on the ship is about 45 minutes.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The MDR was excellent. Our waitstaff was our favorite and best waitstaff to date (very personable and entertaining). The Maitre D’ was also the best to date, always staying engaged and making sure that things flowed smoothly. And when showtime rolled around, our head waiter turned into the ultimate showman with great dance moves while balancing various items. Oh yeah, the food was very good as well.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We took in the whole ship, and enjoyed it all. Everyone got drenched at Waterworks (in water and sun), we zoomed around the Skycourse and braved the Ropes Course (not scary at all), and even had a couple of Mini Golf tournaments. Can you say, “Funderstruck”!!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was around every corner, unfortunately we stayed so busy that we could only enjoy bits and pieces of certain shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I couldn’t tell who was happier to be on this ship, us or the staff. The staff was hands down the best we have ever had. Our waitstaff was top notch, our room steward exceeded our expectations, and one bar server (SAMPSON) never let us go thirsty. He literally would find us, and if our hands were empty, a drink would appear within about 5 minutes. Sometimes I didn’t even know I was thirsty until I tasted the random beverage he brought us.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very clean and well-maintained. We had been on Breeze and Horizon which have very, very similar layouts, so getting around was a Breeze.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We received a last minute call from the Upgrade Fairy. This Grand Suite lives up to its name. There is plenty of room to stretch out and relax, inside or out!

Ship tip

Take it all in, and do as much, or as little as possible. There is no wrong way to enjoy this ship.

Ports of call

Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
The port was great. Unfortunately we had to take a bubble tour that was put together last minute. (They needed more time for planning in my opinion).

Cozumel, Mexico

We did an excursion to Isla Passion. The water shuttle over and back was great and the time on the beach was exceptional. The food and drinks that are included were well worth it.

Belize City, Belize

5 out of 5
This port is amazing but we chose to stay on board and enjoy the empty ship.

Galveston, Texas

Love this Port. Go in a day early or stay a day late and enjoy the city and beach.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
The disembarkation is just as smooth as embarkation. Since we drive to the port, we wait until the last group is called, to get off. There is no line and it is super easy to spot your luggage in the holding area.
