Review summary

The ship and itinerary are amazing! I loved all the features available on the ship, like Sky Ride, Brewery Tour, and the different choices for places to eat, relax, or have fun. The staff on board were wonderful, friendly and cheerful. The ports of call were beautiful, tropical locations and the excursions were exactly as expected with fun, friendly tour guides.

Food and Dining

The main dining room meal options were not very inspiring and did not have much variety. The quality was above average, especially sea food. Lido Deck Buffet was pretty good. The Seafood Shack Special crab is NOT worth it. They have tiny crabs that are nearly impossible to eat and don't have much crab inside. Pay extra for decent crab is my advice. The Ocean Plaza buffet for breakfast is very pleasant and uncrowded with the same food as Lido buffet. Pig & Anchor is great barbeque. Bar food at the Red Frog Pub & Brewery is 5 star. Steakhouse was good, the best cheesecake I have ever had (very dry & crumbly).

Onboard Activities

Sky Ride is super exciting and fun! You can pedal high above the ocean. I loved the waterslide as well. The daytime activities included trivia and bingo and the art show but I did not do those. I did a few of the dance move classes in Ocean Plaza, they taught by entertainment crew and are about 30 minutes and are very fun! Evening activities were varied with different styles of music. I wish I had spent more time in the Havana bar (open to all cruisers) with latin music. They also have movie theater on board with current releases and other options. They also had a brewery tour / lecture that was great.

The electric violins were top notch! Steel Drums during the day were also very fun.

Ship Quality

I personally liked the layout of the Vista. The main attractions are centralized and there are no confusing stairwells that go nowhere. One interesting feature that I did not really enjoy is that there is only one elevator to Serenity deck that was slightly hard to find at first.

Cabin / Stateroom

I was upgraded to this cabin so did not choose it myself. Please note that it has some mobility features but is not ADA Accessible. There was bars in the bathroom and a fold down shower seat. Otherwise the layout and size was the same as a regular balcony cabin. I did not have ANY issues with noise during the cruise except for the last day. Then there was alot of banging around in the hallway area. I don't know if it had something to do with the staff preparing for the next cruise or what, but until then I was loving the fact quietness of the cabin. The view from the balcony was beautiful, you could see the tables for the bbq place below. This cabin has easy access to the laundrette as well. If you go left out the door to the nearest stairs you can go down to the Coffee Bar & Ocean Plaza and then down to the dining room (YTD). If you go up to Lido deck you can go to the back deck where there is a bar and coffee in the morning as well as the pizza & sea food place. You can easily go into the buffet and dining area as well. I really liked the placement and features of this cabin.
