Very enjoyable cruise. I would go on the Vista again.
Embarkation

Other than hanging out in the waiting area for a bit, the actual check in process was lickity-split! Done in 15 minutes. There was a delay getting on the ship but didn't bother us at all.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Carnival's food is Carnival's food. It's good, not spectacular. The steakhouse was great as well as JiJi, although the staff was moving around so fast for no apparent reason, we felt kind of rushed.
I always love the Blue Iguana tacos!
Onboard Activities

We love trivia and really enjoyed the IMAX on board. I thought they would show normal IMAX movies...25 minutes long or so, which they did but they also screened full-length movies like Uncharted and The Batman!
Entertainment
We didn't watch any shows.
Children's Programs
No kids.
Service and Staff

Can't ever complain about the crew and service on a Carnival ship. It's always top notch and fun!
Ship Quality

I loved the Vista. I know a lot of people don't like it but I did. The only thing I didn't like was the Liquid Lounge (main theatre). Horrible design and very uncomfortable. Should have stayed with the standard Carnival theatre with the bench seating and tables. I avoided the Liquid Lounge as much as I could.
Cabin / Stateroom

Aft balcony. I wasn't sure how we'd like being at the back of the ship but turns out, we loved it! The balcony was huge, the room perfect size. I couldn't have enjoyed it more.
Ship tip
Pack your patience. Like any other ship, there are a lot of people and sometimes a bit of waiting.
We had an excursion to Xcaret booked but due to weather, we pulled into port too late so our excursion was canceled. Disappointed but nothing to ruin the trip.
Love, love, LOVE it here! The snorkeling beyond the dock is so amazing and I find it relaxing to just lay on the water and watch the life below the surface.
