Review summary

We enjoyed our vacation. Sure there were many things that could've been better but overall we still had a great time!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
For some reason I had to go to guest services because my passport wouldn't scan. The extra line that I had to wait in wasn't great. Got there and my passport scanned in with no problem & we were able to embark. Not sure what happened in the 1st line but it could've been handled there so my family & I didnt have the extra wait time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5

Lido Marketplace

3 out of 5

The food options were vast but the taste.... horrible. We tried several spots & only found a few options that were decent.

Pizzeria Del Capitano

5 out of 5

The prosciutto pizza was delicious and my kids loved the cheese & pepperoni pizza!

BlueIguana Cantina

4 out of 5

We ate here a few times. The tacos & taco bowls were good. My hubby got a burrito & he said it was good but kind of cold.

Onboard Activities

Fun Shops

5 out of 5

Great shopping & prices

Carnival Waterworks

5 out of 5

My kids had a blast!! They really enjoyed waterworks. It is wonderful for kids & adults alike!

Entertainment

4 out of 5

Limelight Lounge

4 out of 5

Many seats have restricted views so you have to get there early to get a good spot. It was always clean & had nice decor.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Camp ocean was well organized but my kids never wanted to go. They said there was nothing fun to do besides play video games which they can do at home instead of on vacation.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The dinner staff was wonderful. They remembered our names the 1st night! Our room steward was nice but he took a long time on request for clean sheets especially when we were tired & ready to sleep after a long day.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This is not one of the nicer carnival ships. The decor was underwhelming. The staterooms seemed dated. The atrium didnt have that grand feel as other ships we've been on. It was just OK...

Cabin / Stateroom

2 out of 5
Our sheets had stains on multiple ocassions & we had to ask for them to be changed. Also they had to send a plumber to our room because the sewage was bubbling up in the drain! Total disappointment!!

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We always loved it in Cozumel. The shopping is great. There were 5 ships docked when we were there. They handled everyone getting taxis very well. We were at our excursion in about 45 mins after getting off the ship.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

4 out of 5
The locals are very aggressive. This is the least of my fav ports because of that but the island was lovely. We had a great excursion at the blue hole, dining at a local restaurant, & shopping.

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
One of my favorite places. Grand Cayman is a beautiful island! We went to Coral Beach. It was free to enter, $10 ea for chairs & umbrella. The food was phenomenal.

Galveston, Texas

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It was smooth sailing (pun intended)!! We got off without a hitch. We were off & in the car in less than 30 mins.
