Booking our next one this week. We plan on enjoying the Havana club only from now on.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
First time boarding with our receiving our SnS cards first. That part was weird.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Main dining room never fails to exceed expectations. However, our group of 2 couples weren't seated together. It error was rectified quickly but we noticed that several groups had the same issue. Luckily ours was small so finding a new table wasn't too difficult. First time this has happened but it was strange just how many people were in the same situation.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Didn't get to participate in much Trivia but the ones we did we enjoyed. Need more on sea days and less on port days
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The best ensemble talent we've ever seen!
Children's Programs
No kids this trip and our kids are too old.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
John our room steward was amazing. We had a couple of maintenance issues that need fixing and he got them sorted significantly faster that we thought possible.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
I thought the buffet seating felt cramped, more walls less open concept. Made it really hard to scan the room to find our group.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
As expected. But the veranda (far to large to be called a balcony) was out of this world. It was nearly impossible to get my husband out of the swing!
Did the Ultimate Aventure Combo: ziplining and suspension bridges, great time had by all! My husband got to try live termites, peppery cilantro-who'd a guessed.
We got stuck on the wrong side of the closed shipping chanel, not Carnivals fault but we didn't disembark until noon and the only food available was the ice cream machine, coffee, tea, juice machine or water.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such great feedback. We are cruising in about a month and this was very informative. Just curious about the embarkation and debarkation process. Our last carnival cruise when we boarded it was a snap however when we were leaving it was crazy.
