Wish they did all inclusive instead of penny pinching every little thing.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Much longer lines and lots of walking to get to point A to point B, more so than the other cruise lines we have done.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food was subpar. They nickel and dime you for everything. The dining rooms menu was boring or not of the quality we have had on other cruise lines. The buffet was usually empty and had long waits for food that wasn’t very tasty at all. The Mongolian grill and Sushi place were good but always had long waits and cost extra. Cat and the Hat breakfast was fun, but then again this cost extra, even though it was a cat and the hat themed ship and was one of the reasons we chose the Vista and it had no mention of it costing extra anywhere during booking.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
the pools and hot tubs were small and always packed. The game area with the put put was really cool and my daughter enjoyed it. The rope course and fly bike was awesome but again long waits most of the day. The thrill ride was expensive for 14 minutes.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The on board events were mostly boring ways to fill time. The piano bar sing along was fun and she did an amazing job. The guys in the Havana bar were talented. Lots of tables and events to try and sell you something. We wanted to do karaoke but they only had it 1 or 2 times.
Children's Programs
3 out of 5
My kiddo loved the kids program but there hours were wonky during the day so they could do bold a bear events which would shut down for hours, again to try and sell you something and then after 10pm it cost money. If you do a family harbor suit you get a free night.
Service and Staff

Francisco and Ace in the dining room were great! Everyone was really nice.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
It was well taken care of. There are certain elevators that doesn’t allow you to go to one part of the ship which gets confusing.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our room manager was great! The family harbor suite is the way to go if you have kids, they offer the exclusive area with breakfast, drinks, and snacks instead of making the long walk to the food area.
Ship tip
Great for kids! Pay for the Cat and the Hat breakfast experience.
This island was beautiful to walk around and we really liked the flying chair lift...it gave you a break riser the amazing island and water from such great heights! The beach was nice. The water wasn’t as clear and pretty as Belize.
Fog caused delay till 4:30 pm. They kicked us out of our room, food was sparse, and they refused to honor the soda package even though we were trapped on the ship.
Glad you enjoyed it. If you want all-incisive, try Crystal, Symphony, Seabourn, Regent Seven Seas or Viking, but be prepared to pay 3-5+ times what Carnival charges.
