For a first time experience, we left the ship wanting to go again! Very enjoyable way to travel and will certainly book again looking for this class of ship

Main Dining room very accommodating, serving staff was excellent, food delivery a little slow at first but got better as the week progressed! Food quality was excellent! Always something to choose for everyone.

Our Room Steward Alveo was totally amazing—went above and beyond every day! Totally available for very long hours, always accommodating and friendly. He and his staff provided service that was not expected, but we so enjoyed our stay and their actions were so very appreciated!
Our Service staff in the main dining room had many challenges with 12 in our party, 4 of those children. Head waiter Afrikaner, team waiter Glennbert and Asst Team waiter Sujana had their hands full! They anticipated the needs of the children and were always ready when we arrived with colouring books and pre meal snacks of fresh fruit to keep them busy until their meals arrived! This meant so much to the Moms in our group and to the children! We had some big eaters in our group and often ordered multiple servings!! This didn’t faze our waiters in the least and they handled it all with professionalism and extreme courtesy! We would return to Vista just for the above staff!! And of course every one of the staff onboard that we encountered were friendly and accommodating. I wish I had taken each and every name we encountered! Matt Mitchell the cruise director was absolutely fabulous, personable, entertaining, amusing, caring and truly loves his job!!
Ship Quality

Ships layout on the whole was very easy to follow but being that not all decks are accessible from each level, that caused some confusion but we were always able to find staff to direct us! Having to walk through a smoke filled casino was the ONLY downside that we could comment on when trying to get to the Horizon Dining Room! We finally discovered alternate routes but that often met waiting for elevators that were frequently full as stairs were a challenge for two in our party. We used stairs when we could. Everything was clean and any deficiencies were quickly attended to!
Cabin / Stateroom

Size was larger than expected. Location on the ship was perfect for the two occupants and we would search out this location again!
Ship tip
Learn the layout quickly as it would serve you well! If travelling with a group, the app is essential, the messaging between members of your party for the nominal fee of $5 the best money we spent! It was easy to communicate on such a big ship and we were able to take in so much more as a group.
Took the Family Jungle and Pool excursion with our party of 12. Enjoyed this as we were so few at this location. People were friendly and very accommodating but facility is older and wearing. Food served was good and plenty available. Tour guide Lourdes and Ernesto the bus driver very accommodating and pleasant! Bus was older as some seat backs broken and would not stay completely upright but air worked and it was a comfortable ride.
Did not do any excursions just shopped a bit and got back on board! Shopping very typical. Liked to be able to board ship at any time and did not require water transport as in Belize.
