there are always issues with the gangway in galveston and this time it was an issue so they change the plan to disembark from deck 0 insted of deck 3. so we were being told to go back to our cabin and wait but the room stewards were kicking us out. when i found the room steward super for the floor he walked away from me and didnt return. when i called the front desk to get info i was told that no announcement was made telling us to go back to our rooms but Matt the CD had just made the announcement 20 min beforehand

No matter what peir you are at with carnival there is always some kind of problem or back up ! And the employees on board that wear the. " ask me " shirts havnt a clue , or what time of day it is . If brains were dynamite , most couldn't blow their nose .

I have never had a smooth experience with embarkation or debarkation in Galveston. But I keep putting up with it. Every other port was much easier. It does help that the port workers are super nice and helpful; except one last time. Each time we debarked, seems they always started with a different floor... Last time we were on deck 1, so we hauled it all up to the lido to expect to wait, but they called deck 1. Cruise before, they called higher decks. 🤷🏻‍♀️
