Review summary

Good value for the price paid. Menus are always the same and they should change that up some in the future. I’m heading on another cruise out of Ft Lauderdale this month on October 20 on the Magic and hope it will be just as much fun.

My husband broke his hip and needed a wheelchair. The attendants were great but it was a long wait for the wheelchair.

We ate ANYTIME DINING in the Horizon restaurant and managed to get the same waiters and table every night. Mario and his team were the BEST. Mario remembered everything we like and of course he just has the best personality which made our dinner hour very enjoyable.

Kudos to our stateroom steward MUDITA. He has that customer service knack for making you feel like your his special guests. Very attentive, kind and a warm personality. We wish he was on every cruise. You’ll be lucky to have him on the Vista. We had a cove balcony which we love....close to the water so you hear it while on the balcony. This is my favorite balcony area.

Ship tip

Try to be on port side of this itinerary as you will enjoy the sunrises.

We cruised on the Magic for our first two cruises and we really enjoyed it. We thought it was a great ship! Haven’t done the Vista yet, but we will July 2020. Wanted to try a bigger ship, but I know bigger is not always better. We cruised the Valor, a smaller and older ship, and didn’t like it as much.
