We always take advantage of this venue when we cruise and it never disappoints. It was our anniversary so we did the desert where the chef comes to ur table and makes this amazing creation right in front of u. I just cannot explain it....truly amazing

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The amazing service is one of the things that made us carnival cruisers for life. I wont lie being a regular cruiser for the past 10 or so years u can see the areas that carnival has cut back in which will at times affect the service however staff have always always been exceptional to us. Even when they face rude passengers (and u know who u r) and working the grueling schedules they do they manage to do great work and r always friendly.
Ship Quality

This was our second time on the vista. Its a great ship. The magic is still my favorite though. We did the havana cabin this time and it was well worth it to me although my husband has decided he likes the regular balconies better. The ship is always clean even with the lazy ppl who leave their dishes in the elevator or other random places. I do miss the glass elevators on this ship. And i prefer the layout of the magics bar area more i think.
Cabin / Stateroom

Fantastic location. The havana experience was well worth it for us. The cabin (if u can believe it) was actually a tiny bit smaller to get that patio which made it tight with 2 teenage girls and all the wardrobe changes they require π. Our steward Christopher was amazing of course. I love the pillows and beds on the ships so i always sleep great.
Ship tip
Take advantage of all the entertainment and food options. B patient with staff and each other. Ur on vacation so donβt sweat the small stuff. Dont miss out on guys burgers or jijis asian restaurant for sure. Avoid the crowds debarking at each island by not trying to run down there the minute the gangway opens. Do schedule ur excursions early in my opinion so u r not scrambling at the last minute.
We always live Jamaica! Be an educated traveler though so u r safe. There is not much to see or do at the port and u cant just walk out on ur own. But dont miss out on the absolutley beautiful island and its ppl and culture. They have some great excursions ir is u like a little more independence do the hop on hop off bus.
Caymen is beautiful. More expensive than some if the other islands but they have great places to visit. Sting ray sandbar shuld b a buck list item for everyone as shuld the turtle farm. My family LOVED swimming with the sea turtles
Always galveston! Definitely come a day early and enjoy the island. No it is not the prettiest port as it is industrial but the island itself has a lot to offer
Hey all since we lost another summer cruise we want to look at an all inclusive maybe in cozumel. Anyone have any suggestions for places you have been that were awesome?
