Review summary

My wife and I were on our honeymoon, and this was our first cruise. Other then getting on the ship and getting off the ship we had a great time and captured so many memories. We look forward to our next Carnival cruise.

Embarkation

We heard lightning struck the gangway which caused a 3 hour delay to get on the ship. I will still sail Carnival, had a great time.

Our dining room staff was amazing, Eire was one of the best servers I've ever had. I would sail the Vista again just to have them as my wait staff.

Cherry on Top

I was very disappointed with the staff in the Cherry on top. I stopped in because I had the taste for cookies. They had large M&M cookies in a jar. All I wanted was the cookies but they refused to sell them to me. They said if I wanted cookies I had to buy them from the Coffee shop. (the cookies i wanted were only available in the Cherry on top) but the staff refused to sell me the cookies. I even told them they could charge me for the icecream and just give me the cookies but they refused. I was very disappointed.

Reflections Restaurant

We had amazing service, the wait staff knew our names by the 2nd night. That was impressive. ERIE, IPUTU, and ENID were super friendly. I hope the next time we cruise the vista we get them as our servers again.

Alchemy Bar

We had Alexander and Dimitri as our bartenders. Didn't know what I wanted to drink so I told Alexander what i liked and he mixed up a drink that was so good. Multiple people saw my drink and asked him to make one for them as well. If every bar on the ship had a bartender like Alexander, it would definitely be the best ship in the fleet.

On the ship the activities weren't very entertaining, some of the shows were funny. Matt was entertaining.

Our wait staff gets 5 stars. Great service, Erie was very friendly. Our Steward was Webster, he was very friendly and did a great job.
