I had a wonderful time of relaxation with my husband. We've already scheduled the one for next year, GOD willing. At least now I know the lay of the ship.

Getting on the ship was a breeze because of Faster to the Fun. The elevators however were a nightmare. If you DO NOT check your luggage, the wait for an elevator is RIDICULOUS due to the limited number available. Took up to 1 hour because everyone was impatient and either going to the 2nd floor via stairs to access elevator or jumping in front of those that had been waiting.

The MDR choices are consistent across the board I noticed. I sampled new things on brunch days and enjoyed them all. Seating in dining hall allows for NO privacy between tables.

Enjoyed the comedy shows and attended a few late night dance functions for the first time in 5 cruises. Even attended the Lip Sync finale which was a BLAST!!

Guest Services was EXCELLENT, especially Orsolya Temesvari a Supervisor and Ricardo Torres an Associate. Orsolya was crucial in me acquiring a fan for my room when I explained my medical issues, and Torres explained the importance of using my Cruise Cash or I would lose it, was NOT aware it wasn't returned to me. Ore room steward however, Pedro, seemed tired and unwilling to be Carnival minded.

I finally learned the layout on the last two days. What a beautiful ship. The staff were constantly cleaning it.
Cabin / Stateroom

The room was beautiful and roomy. I loved being on the 9th floor, just didn't realize I was underneath so much activity. We heard chairs being dragged nightly in the wee hours. We asked the room steward to come twice daily, but he only came once. My husband also asked for an extra blanket because my medical condition causes him to be too cold, we had to ask until Wednesday and we arrived Sunday. Also had 2 ask for robes several times. Pedro also failed to deliver a yellow towel we purchased and when we inquired he became visibly irritated and walked away. But we were told he would deliver it on our last day.
Ship tip
Practice patience on embarkation with the elevator. Check your bags so that you can have freedom in case you need to use the stairs.
Loved this quaint town. Had oxtails at 10 in the morning. Wonderful. Also tasted a daiquiri early as well. Did not work too well as I'm a 52 yo child when it comes to drinking. Saw zip lining up close and personal as we ate oxtails. Great excursion. Went through outside vendor for excursion, glad we did.
First time visiting Mr. Sanchos. Enjoyed the drinks but you MUST leave ship early in order to get a nice spot on the beach or at one of the tables. We were still able to see the ocean and enjoy the scenery. Also had a FABULOUS beach massage for 30 minutes which made me feel SO relaxed. The all inclusive was well worth it, next time I'll opt for one where no children are.
Faster to the Fun did NOT benefit as it was obvious patrons were coming down the stairs and blending in as Platinum and Diamond were filing out merging with the crowd. I'll try it once more because I'm booked two more times next year on VISTA.
We were on the Vista when you were. Our room steward was great, even though we hardly ever saw her. The robe I requested was in our room the next time we entered. She came twice a day. I enjoyed our cruise.
