Review summary

This was a perfect honeymoon experience for us and the memories will last forever. We made friends with many of the staff, and had so many favorite things by the end of the trip.

Embarkation

Pretty good, not much confusion and overall efficient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at the main dining 3 nights which was great, and loved the sushi bar, alchemy bar, and the Asian restaursnt. The steakhouse was good, but we're spoiled.

Redfrog Rum Bar

5 out of 5

Great little bar to grab a miami vice and hit the pool.

Guy's Burger Joint

4 out of 5

Burgers were great. The French Fry's had a spice with a little too much kick and I'm not really a softy on that usually. Also, I like that they have a "secret sauce" but it's incredibly inconvenient if you have a food allergy. Just put what's in it...

Alchemy Bar

5 out of 5

Amazing to pull up to and have a drink. The bartenders Mark & Milan work their magic behind the bar and they are true mixologists. Of course it's best to order from the menu, but be sure to tell them what you like if you're not seeing it. Easy to sit here for an hour or two before or after dinner because of the great hosts.

Tides Bar

Great service!

BlueIguana Tequila Bar

5 out of 5

The drinks here are great! Be careful with the Agave tea... It is quite potent.

JiJi Asian Kitchen

5 out of 5

We came for lunch when it runs as a Mongolian Wok. Food was great and service was quick!

Pizzeria Del Capitano

5 out of 5

24/7 pizzas, what more needs to be said. This is your go to spot for food late night.

Serenity Bar

5 out of 5

If the beach pool or tides pool is too packed with kids, this is where you'll want to go. This spot is also great for private Cabanas and drink service. This is a non-smoking section though, so that could be a pro or con for you.

Seafood Shack

5 out of 5

The lobster roll is perfectly executed.

Reflections Restaurant

5 out of 5

These were great meals each night we went and we had great service from Hazel and his team. We asked for him every night :)

Onboard Activities

Vista Casino

5 out of 5

This was a highlight of our trip! One night we played roulette with the same folks for about two hours and we all had been trying to hit on 13 forever. When it finally hit the whole corner of the casino went wild cheering! There were many tables you could sit and and play for a long time. Our favorite dealers were Midea, Paata, Denis, Edward, and Javi was a cool pit boss. Gladis & Hilda we're pretty cool too. Our favorite bar man was definitely Ermie.. he kept track of everything Lol.

Beach Pool

5 out of 5

This is a great place to get some sun, watch some daily activities hosted by the cruise director, and have a general beach break with a drink. They had an outdoor movie night as well which was a awesome and unique experience.

Fun Shops

5 out of 5

We loved the Effy shop! Our sales guy was Chetan. He was very knowledgeable on jewelry, and helped us find exactly what we were looking for at a great price!

Tides Pool

This area is fun, but I kept wanting it to be adults only.

Entertainment

Dance Floor

4 out of 5

This was awesome. Some of the songs they let play too long though.. like people would sit down because they were tired of one song and wouldn't get up for the next one. So my recommendation here is better transitions and more house music.. Lol

Limelight Lounge

2 out of 5

This is we're you'll want to be for the club scene. They have different themes for an hour or so on some nights. Later in the cruise this is also where they did the adult comedy shows and they were packed! Great stuff.

Bandstand

5 out of 5

I never was in the atrium while they had bands playing, always seemed to be passing through... But I couldn't help but stop and listen to several songs. They had a great folks duo and a violin trio I loved. Extremely talented and the pieces they played always fit the mood and occasion.

Art Gallery

5 out of 5

This was one of our favorite things to do! The Park West team was amazing. PJ & Darko were great people and great salesmen with a wealth of knowledge on artists, mediums, and collecting. To top it off, they're also very fun and personable. They listen and will always try to help you find exactly what you're looking for, and introduce you to new things as well. They have some truly amazing art on the ship.

This port feels like you're a bunch of cattle waiting to get on the train to your excursion Lol. The excursion was amazing, but not sure how they can improve the offloading process.

Cozumel, Mexico

2 out of 5
This port was the biggest party and had the most energy.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Just a long wait as could be expected. Was very organized and they tried not to pack us too tightly.
