The drinks were great but the food was not! On the first formal night we were seated at the back of the restaurant and apparently service is extremely slow back there. It took well over an hour to get our food. A couple of people got tired of waiting and left. Hair was found in food on more than one occasion in the dining room. We tried just about every specialty restaurant except for the Asian and Italian place and all the food had the same thing in common no flavor no seasoning. I was wondering why my friend was sprinkling salt on his fush at the seafood shack but after i tasted it i knew why. I orderd wings at the Red pub Frog and thank god i always tear open my chicken before i eat it because they were raw and nloody on the inside!! I sent them back of course and got another order but they should've just removed the charge. Every now and then they would have some tasty items on the buffet but the best food was at Guy's burgers, Guys's pig and anchor, and the blue cantina.

I enjoyed the outside exercise areas, pools, slides, and sky ride. The movie theater was nice and the 4D movie theater was great!

The comedians were mediocre. I did not like the cruise director Chris the flying scottsman he plays the same playlists and doesn't include any current music nor does it include any hip hop or r & b and he did the same lip sync battle routine as another cruise director. Flick was a decent show but it was hard to tell when a magic trick was done sometimes becaude there was so much movement on the stage. What happened to the regular magic shows carnival?!?

I saw quite a few workers that were hiding from work or texting on their cell phones. I walked in the bathroom on deck 11 by the smoking area and one worker was sitting up on the sink area talking on what i thought was a cell phone but when i came out of the stall to wash my hands(and she did not move or get down) i saw that she was actually talking to her co-worker who was sitting there hanging out in the stall next to me.(not using the bathroom just sitting there talking)

Being that this was a new ship i was really disappointed. The bathrooms on deck 10 right by the pool werent working properly i had to notify someone twice about the toilets not flushing.In addition the bathrooms were sometimes not clean with toilet paper and drinks on the floor. I did love all the outside seating around deck 5. You can not hear any announcements in your stateroom or out on decks 10 and up. If there were an emergency people would be in trouble because you can not hear anything. Bathrooms can be hard to locate there should be signs in the hallways/walkways.

Just when I thought the reviews for the Vista were getting better... sorry it wasn’t that great for you. We’re cruising on her next July and I’m pretty excited.

Sorry you weren't too impressed with the food or staff. We loved the food and were very impressed with all the choices they offered. Thought the staff was awesome as well. From the CD, to the room steward, to our waiters and everyone else we encountered. You can t really please everyone though. My advice is to try this ship and judge for yourself
