Review summary

I felt there was not enough entertainment on the ship to keep passengers engaged. The lines for the Sky Rides were very long with out a good reason. The food was good but, I feel it lacked a variety through out the different nights. I feel the cruise director could have done a better job of communicating the different events through out the day.

I agree, one key to any cruise is to review the newsletter each night and highlight things of interest. And if one is newbie, try to sample as many things as possible. Sometimes there are things that don't seem interesting by their name, but when you attend they turn out to be quite entertaining.

Takes time to get those harnesses on for the sky ride. Between the Fun Times given to you night before and the Carnival Hub, hard to miss activities. We have never been able to do all we have wanted, there was just too much! Personally, I can't stand the CD on the intercom constantly. To each his or her own...

I do not agree with this post. Been on the Vista twice and there is plenty entertainment, Matt the C.D. was tremendous. The next time we had Chris " The Flying Scotsmen " he was informative and very funny. During sea days and certain times of the day the Skyride line is long but the wait is no more than an hour or so. Whats the rush you're on Vacation remember.

I recall when I was on they had nightly shows. Comedy show was a hoot. On my sailing was this grandma comedian. Shocking potty mouth. Was funny as hell. They also had this great Latin review among others. Matt was cruise director. Best in business. I think I read on another blog that he was on Vacation. I am not such a Carnival fan. But on my sailing there was a ton of entertainment.
