Review summary

For a new and bigger ship this was not what I expected. Bigger doesn’t always mean better. More people but nothing was bigger. Pools were too small for the amount of people. The pools were the same size as any other carnival ship. Dining at the buffet was a joke as lines were extremely long. Dining options were minimal and were the same as any other carnival ship. Not worth the extra money.

Sorry you had a somewhat miserable time. We had a wonderful time on the Vista. There are so many more activities than on any other Carnival ship. For example...Sky Ride, Ropes Course, Water Works, IMax Theater, Thrill Theater, etc. We were never bored! There are many, many dining options as well. Aside from the buffet (which we only found long lines on embarkation day) and the main dining room, there is Guy's Burger Joint, Guy's Pig And Anchor, Deli, Blue Iguana Cantina, Fresh Creations, Pizza Place, Sushi Place, JiJi's Asian Kitchen, Cucina Del Capitano, Seafood Shack, Cherry On Top Ice Cream Place, Steakhouse, Taste Bar, Room Service, Havana Bar, Shake Spot and I'm sure I've forgotten other places too. But, to each his own, I guess. My advice is to check it out for yourself. I doubt you'll be disappointed
