Review summary

I think carnival cruise lines are dedicated to party singles or adults not for young families based on my other cruises on other cruise lines.

Been on a few different cruise lines with my son who is now 4. Hes been on RC, NCL and Carnival. He absolutely loved Carnival. The Dr seuss themed activities, water park, kids club. I feel Carnival is great for its price. Yes its a party all the time.. for everyone.. its a vacation.. if you want to relax and not have to deal with music and fun . Carnival is not for you..

Princess cruise line may suit you more. NCL & RCCL both are adult themed cruise lines. Carnival and Disney are more family oriented from what I have read. Disney being the leadwr of course.

Every cruise line charges for speciality restaurants. I dont think they cater to smokers or partiers more than any other cruise line. Cruise on Disney if you want lots of children's activities. If my kids were little i wouldn't choose to take them on a cruise. I would take them to other places like Disney.

Did you know you can bring your own soda onboard?

Carnival Cruise line low prices but get you on board when you want to purchase items like alcohol or sodas, merchandise and visit certain restaurants you have to pay again to eat at the high end ones. Charge for movies, video games, etc . Do your research before booking Carnival. Low priced but charge for almost everything once on board. Good Cruising!

Carnival Cruise Line line is a good priced cruise line but this cruise lines is seems dedicated to party families and smokers because their are numerous adult activities and very few children activities, seems to cater to smokers and people who purchased the alcohol packages. I had to wait for quite sometime at the bars just to get sodas when I purchased the soda package. Shows were okay. Food a Buffet was mediocre , choice of foods could be better. I truly wouldn’t cruise with carnival again.
