Review summary

We had a wonderful time. Matt the cruise director was fantastic. Richie Rich is some much fun as well.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
I’m someone with zero patience when I feel that my time is being wasted. With that being said the line to embark was extremely long. I learned that there were a couple of issues that caused this. So the wait didn’t really bother me. Our time to board was between 12 and 1. We were on in enough time to eat chit chat then our rooms were ready

Try to view the menu before dining, especially if you have your time dining. Also on the night they have lobster order 2.

Ship tip

My advice would be to not get the bubbles (soda) package. You have to really be a soda drinker to benefit. Also they are not good. Since they’re warm once they pour it over ice it gets watered down. The lemonade on the ship is pretty good. Bring your own cup. If you want orange/apple juice with breakfast it’s free in the dining room.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

We did the Bob Sledding. We booked through carnival. We had to meet our van pretty early. Taking the sky ride up the wait was not bad. To get on the actual bob sled we waited about 2 hours in line. Was only able to do once.

George Town, Grand Cayman

My only issue with this port is timing. If you want to purchase alcohol they need to deliver it to the ship and the cutoff time is either 1:20 or 1:30. So if you do an excursion you need to time it right.

Cozumel, Mexico

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
The problem with disembarkation is not the staff or the ship it’s the guest. If you have a later flight and don’t need to get off the ship early chill until the last minute.
