Review summary

Carnival should invest more in security resources. This was for sure our last cruise with Carnival. Smoking (both cigarettes and drugs) was everywhere on the ship including balconies. Hallways are too noisy, rooms are FAR from soundproof and beds are too hard. Everything else was great (food, service, staff, entertainment). Debarkation was a gongshow, guests did not respect the procedures - this is where Carnival could invest more resources/control. You get what you pay for I guess.

Never have we experienced drugs on any ship really!!! And for the smoking we smoke and do not ever smoke on our balconies! It’s against the rules! And not seeing any others cruises on your profile! I agree so past Carnival being the Walmart of cruises because they aren’t!! Such ridiculous remarks!

We've done Royal and Carnival. Like Carnival much better. Way more fun on their ships. Can't say we've ever experienced what you did though. But that's a personal issue, not Carnivals.

And furthermore, Carnival isn't always cheap. I paid a pretty penny for my cabin. I'm so over hearing that Carnival is the Walmart of cruises.

Invest in a pair of ear plugs next time. Cheap fix to the thin walls, walls that you will get on all ships not just Carnival.

You blame Carnival for passengers not following directions. Hallways to noisy on vacation. I guess you should have booked a private cruise ship for just you since you expect so much, it was your choice to sail with Carnival. Man some people are just so unfair with expectation or should I say some people think they are more privileged and want what they think they should have and not thinking of others. Now I do agree with you about the smoking Carnival do need to address that problem. I have not encountered the drug problem on the ship. But being in law enforcement for more than 25 years and retired military, security will be tough on a ship that big and it will raise the price to cruise if they increase security for drug use. That type of security is more than a guy carrying a radio.

I just got off Vista,we had noisy neighbors ( baby cried constantly), but we had a blast and I'm happy we did not experience the drug issue.
