Review summary

This was our first cruise on Carnival since 2015. We love the Vista as I believe this has quickly become everyone's favorite! We stayed in room 10274 on the lido deck which was PERFECT for anywhere you needed to go on the ship. It was awesome being that close to the food too! We are going to try to stay in the same exact room on any future cruises! Book the Vista with confidence as this is a great ship! Thanks Carnival!

We are Carnival Platinum members so we were basically one of the first groups on board. We had a boarding time between 11-1130am and it wasn't too much longer than that we were heading to board the ship!

As usual we received excellent service from all of the team members. Our room was cleaned to perfection and about 3 times out of the 8 days we told our cabin steward he didn't have to clean our room just give us fresh towels and he did. We like to try to give the workers a break as we were told that they have 32 rooms to clean between the cabin steward and his partner. That is alot of rooms!

We got off of the ship and took a taxi guided over 2 hour tour of the island for just $25! It was very informative as we like to give some of our money to the locals for their services. It was great fun!

We did the Saona Island all day beach day. It was great fun, but if you want to do the VIP tour of the same name book it early as it sold out rather quickly. Our tour was the exact same but without the meal provided. Great day to spend at 2 beaches!

We did the all day hotel pass at Santa Barbara Beach Resort through shoreexcursioneer.com It for me was the highlight of the trip! The place was awesome, very clean, and included all you could eat and drink for the entire day. Total heaven!

Another beach day hotel pass at the Barcelo through shoreexcursioneer.com It was not as nice as the day in Curacao but was still pretty awesome. It was more crowded than the previous day but they have an awesome all you can eat buffet until 3pm. I loved this place too! Make sure you check both of these places out for great value!

We stayed in room 10272. You are right this location is great. It is an interior room that was recommended since it was our first cruise. Walked out the room and was on the Lido deck within 20 seconds.. Nice

We had a great time cruising

I was not fond of this ship. I’ve been on other carnival ships and have been been very impressed. Vista was not as clean as the other ships. Never got to ride the sky ride it was closed more then it was open. The lounge chairs and floor where dirty.
