I DID NOT LIKE THE LAYOUT OF THE VISTA. I THOUGHT DECK 5 WAS FOR WALKING AROUND THE WHOLE SHIP, HOWEVER IT WAS CLOSED OFF AT THE "HAVANA CLUB" WHICH WE DID NOT LIKE. PLUS IN CLOSING IT OFF FOR "PRIVATE PARTY" IT TOOK AWAY A POOL AND HOT TUB TO THE GENERAL PASSENGERS, LEAVING ONLY TWO POOLS AND HOT TUBS FOR PASSENGERS WITH KIDS. THIS IS NOT ENOUGH FOR 4800 PASSENGERS. . . . ESPECIALLY WHEN THE POOL/POOLS WERE CLOSED SEVERAL TIMES BECAUSE SOME DRUNKEN ADULT VOMITED IN IT/THEM FORCING THEM TO CLOSE FOR THE REST OF THE DAY! PLUS SLIDES WERE GREAT, HOWEVER, THE YELLOW ONE WAS CLOSED ONE DAY BECAUSE WE WERE DOCKED AND SHIP LEANED A BIT, FORCING THE YELLOW SLIDE TO FILL WITH WATER AND CLOSED. ANOTHER DAY, BOTH WERE CLOSED FOR SEVERAL HOURS FOR "MAINTENANCE".

BRING WARM CLOTHES!!! WE FROZE - THE HALLWAYS, ROOMS, DINING ROOMS, LOUNGES, ETC WERE FREEZING!!

We are booked in cabin 6466, extended balcony in the Havana area for August! Cannot wait! No negative reviews will stop this excitement!

Yes the Havana pool is for people that boom the Havana cabins and suites it’s a nice perk and a beautiful relaxing area! People need to do some homework before they cruise if they would like this area! Vista only has 4000 guests roughly and never feels crowded! Carnival has also added life guards to the pools, great idea! Everyone has their own opinion on the layout of ships, I happen to love the layout easy to get around and staff is amazing!

The Havana pool is for the Havana suite occupants until 5pm. Then anyone can use it.

Overall we loved Vista. But agree the liquid lounge for the evening shows is way too small and very poorly designed.

It’s one of the best ships lots to do food was excellent and they go out of their way to please you. Go to breakfast at the dining room also Johnny Rockets
