Review summary

Because there are so many guest and not enough staff you lose the persoanl experience feel that carnival gives on smaller ships. It also causes for longer waits. The cruise director was absolutely GREAT!!!

The line was very very long. I left for a few hours after arriving at my scheduled check in time and returned to get on later.

Excellent service at the Rum Bar.

Sauna is very small. Only holds 3 guest comfortably. This is on a ship that has 4500 guest.

Service and Staff

Bar waiter service at ocean plaza during activities was poor. It took a long period of time to get the their attention. If you walk to the bar across the way it still took 20 min to be asked your order. Staff are working hard its just not enough of them. Dining room staff are working hard but cant give the experience needed due to being under staffed.

Ship Quality

The ship is beeautiful but everything was made small and more guest added. This made for long waits at times and bad service as well.

It was an interior and we always get interior. I love the new tv design. I do not like they removed one of the hanging closets. Our roommsteward Audi was great.

Ship tip

We had long waits for dinner, the dining rooms need more staff. Waited 50 minutes before receiving food during brunch.

Thats awesome. This was our first time experiencing it. This was our 8th cruise. We have another on the Paradise in August. I think the Vista is too large for the crew. A waiter in the dining room explained that he wanted to give better service but he was just too busy.

I never had a problem with staff either. In fact on the life deck if my glass was empty they came and made sure I didn't need anything. Never had a bad moment even when my excursions were cancelled. Money added back to my onboard account.

I have never experienced staff not being personal. They have all greeted us well and by name. Waits have never been too long.
