Overall it was a fun and exciting cruise. My kids and wife enjoyed it and it was great to make these memories with them. It was my third cruise, my wife's second and the kids first.

Embarkation

Faster to the fun was sooo worth it! I will certainly but it again just for the fast check in process. Going through Miami was a very simple and easy process. Getting on the boat was fast once they were done unloading.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room we ate in was the Reflectiona restaurant. It was great! Our waiter was Made and he was awesome and attentive. The diners took a time and was a bit slow for our table, but we had a group of about 15-18 at our table and they wanted to keep apps and entrees together. Overall it was wonderful. The buffet on the Lido was great and had lots of good foods. The pizza was good and Guys burgers were amazing! I also tried the seafood Shack. I ordered the Lobster BLT. It was good, but I would have been fine not paying $12 and just getting a burger.

Alchemy Bar

5 out of 5

The Alchemy bar was amazing! I could not recommend this enough! They made awesome drinks and were able to make drinks based on a few guiding points.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The ropes course was fun but was closed our last two days. One day was for painting the second for wind and rain. The sky ride was fun as well, but waits could get long. The mini golf was fun for my 5 year old and he loved playing it. The pools were good, but the hottubs filled up quick, though I was always able to get a seat in one.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were great and fun to watch. We went to the "Love and Marriage" show and it was hilarious. Matt was a great crusie director and was awesome with the show. The other show I loved was Flick. Everyone should see this show! I loved the fact that they had a military appreciation show on the last season day. It was well put together and a great way to show some love and appreciation to the military. Matt even included recognition to first responders!

Liquid Lounge

5 out of 5

The Lounge was a great and well maintained place. It was comfortable to sit and watch shows in.

Children's Programs

My two kids (8 year old girl and 5 year old boy) liked their time in Camp Ocean. They played games and watched movies and staff was nice and caring. They even gave my kids a "trophy" when we picked them up just a tad earlier than the kids wanted, because they were about to play games to win them.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward was Phillip. He was great and always had our room clean and orderly. Anything we asked (few things) he was able to get done quickly. The courtesy staff was easy going and answered all the questions I had. Crusie director Matt Mitcham was wonderful. He was funny and personable and would give you lots of info. He even let us know about a singer from one of the shows when we're were on an elevator with him.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean and we'll maintained. Our balacony room had a light film on the glass, likely from sea water. Klcleaning was done in our first port and that took care of all issues.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was clean. The AC worked great. As with most ships the doors are heavy and I had to remind my kids to be careful not to slam fingers in them. Bathroom was a normal size and nothing wowing but useable. Shower worked as expected

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

3 out of 5
Didn't do anything here accept say hello to the ship and good bye. Decent port that seems to have a good idea of how to handle the cruise industry.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

4 out of 5
Great port. My second time here. The people are mostly friendly, though the woman I spoke to in the inform booth didn't seem to care at all about me asking her a question.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Always love this beautiful port. It's expensive to buy things here though. It was explained to me by our excursion bus driver, as to why it's Soo expensive. The Cayman's are tax free as decreed by the Queen. To make income to maintain things like roads, everything needs permits and licenses. To cover the cost of these things, everything has to cost more. Very safe and fun island.

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Cozumel is Cozumel. I have been here three times and it's about the same. Good shopping and fair prices. Good places to eat.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Faster to the fun is again amazing! It gave us the ability to debark fast. I didn't know how long it would take, and though we would be off around 930-1000. We were off and through customs by 0845. Customs took some time though, so be prepared to stand in line.
