In summary, I came from Hawaii to go to the Caribbean on vacation and it was wonderful. The highlight of the trip was the Havana Suite and I totally recommend the experience. My only downgrade was the ship entertainment, the slides, skyride, Thrill theater and IMAX were all nice. The casino was a little small but adequate.
Embarkation

We had a handicap person with us so we went to the front of the line. Everyone was very accommodating and the experience went very smoothly.

Food and Dining

We went to 555 (the Steakhouse) the first night and it blew us away! Definitely try Art at the Table for dessert and the service was perfect from the staff. We enjoyed it so much we booked it for the last night too as a perfect send off to an extraordinary vacation. We booked the Chef's table tour and the food was incredible but the host had a heavy accent and many guests had trouble understanding him. It was about 3 hours long and a "foodie" would love it!

Perfection!
Onboard Activities

We had good and bad experiences on the entertainment front, but we enjoyed the trip anyway. Some of the comedians were great and some were so bad we would try to sneak out if you could sneak out and the comedian didn't single you out to the crowd. I mean really bad! The singers and dancers were like going to a high school production.
Entertainment

Not that good.
Children's Programs

I didn't have any kids with me.
Service and Staff

I think the service staff were excellent and I would have liked to take my ship steward home with me.
Ship Quality

As usual you have to keep going up or down floors to get past dining rooms and such and after 8 days I still needed a map to find my way around but that is okay with me.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Usually we get an inside cabin or take an upgrade to a window but this time my sister wanted a balcony and decided to pay for the Havana Suite. The balcony was about 12' x 12' with two loungers and a table. It looked down upon the two hot tubs and pool that was reserved for Havana Suite guests and we LOVED having the private pool area. Kid free, clean, peaceful, towels provided, and a bar and worth every cent! If you are going on vacation to relax, I would recommend getting a Havana Suite. It was like taking a small cruise ship where you can mix and mingle with a few people and get an experience hard to find on a ship of thousands.
Ship tip
Go to 555 Steakhouse and reserve online or A.S.A.P. when you board, it is totally worth it and they were fully booked by the 2nd day.
The port area was very nice but a little pricey. We did the stingray tour which was just one stingray but the ride was fun and the guides were very nice.
We took the bus into town and were dropped off at the craft market. Most of the vendors have very similar jewelry or crafts to sell, they are very competitive and expect you to bargain and bundle your purchases. We bought most of our gifts for home here since the prices were great. A necklace priced at $100 would bargain to about $25. The vendors can be a little pushy but security was good and we had no problems.
Really pricey! The beach is far from the boat and you have to pay to step on the beach and pay to sit on the beach. A bathing suit top only was $150. Drinks were $15. I wish I stayed on the ship.
They had a very nice market as soon as you get off the ship with very reasonably priced cruise souvenirs available. The town was an easy walk and very pretty with wonderful people.
