Review summary

I would love to sail on this ship again. Not hurricane season. I would choose different ports. I would also suggest cleaning rooms twice a day. Bringing only carry ones and backpack was wonderful on and off ship.

Embarkation

Very nice times together from old to young we kept busy on the sea days. We only wish that they substituted another port instead of just cancelling the whole day. Nothing was said to us about a credit or reimbursement for the lack of the day trip.

Had a balcony room. It was nice however on other ships not carnival they were a little more fancy and they cleaned the rooms 2 times a day instead of once.

Ship tip

If you book During hurricane season I would invest in the better insurance that allows you to cancel For any reason. We had just too Many worries and wished they put off the cruise for another time. But we were stuck and had to Go or forfit out payments.

Even if you select just a.m service they will still come in the evening and turn the blankets down. I sure wish they still left the chocolate on the pillows!

We sailed on the Pride a couple of weeks ago. Our cabin steward asked if we wanted AM or PM cabin service. My wife and I kind of looked at each other as we hadn't even thought about it at that point and he said 'no worries, I'll do it twice a day.' Just as an FYI, we did know about the change from a previous cruise so weren't surprised by his question; we just hadn't discussed it. We did make sure to leave him an extra tip.

Supposedly Carnival is cleaning a cabin once a day per latest policy.

In my experience the cabin steward has always asked us if we preferred the cabin cleaned once or twice a day
