Review summary

This was my first cruise. I loved it! Would go again, as long as Matt Mitcham is the CD! The only negative things I experienced was watching all the teens run around the ship in an unruly manner and perhaps the long line for the buffet.

The waiters, room stewards and buffet servers were very pleasant! The staff that swept or mopped the decks were very kind. Wonderful staff! Matt Mitcham is the very BEST CD!

Great for adults. Harder to keep young children under watch.

I had to put top bunk mattress on the floor. I couldn't get down off it. Room steward made that mattress up, just like the other bed! Thank you!

Please do not let your teenage children run around the entire ship all night.

A couple thoughts. Carnival has many good energetic Cruise Directors. You saw one on your first cruise, he may be very good, but he may not be the BEST. Try some others. Also, August cruise means lots of kids. Next time cruise during the school year and you should see an improvement. Glad you enjoyed your first cruise experience.
