Review summary

Overall Vista is a great ship with nice ship specific touches. However, because there are more things everywhere you look, the things you are used to seem smaller. Such as the main show lounge, comedy club, and casino.

Arrived on time, had to wait for a while but less than 1 hour.

Great food this time around. Dining room food was hot and fresh every night. Buffet was clean and pleniful.

Great Havana and serenity areas and pools. Good sized arcade, casino, and decks.

Had excellent waiters in every area. Steward was average at best but not bad enough to complain.

Ship Quality

Ship was clean and beautiful. However, all the spaces felt smaller. The atrium felt claustrophobic without the high ceilings. One of the smallest comedy club areas on any ship I've been on. They cramped a lot on to this ship, but at the expense of having enough space for it all.

Cabin / Stateroom

Great interior cabin except that it was directly behind the teen club. So on nights they had loud music you could feel it vibrating your bed.

Take your time and enjoy all of the ship specific things.

We love Carnival! Will you post a pic of one/some of the Fun Times daily schedules? I believe they've altered the timing of some things so just trying to know before we go. Thank you!

I would not mind a smaller casino aboard - providing the payouts were bigger (lol).

The Vista is a great ship. lots to do and the food is awesome. the only complaint I have and it really isn't a complaint but more of an observation. the main lobby is underwhelming. i am used the the over the top lobbies that most Carnival ships have and tge Vista is very simple and has a lower ceiling but none the less it is a pretty ship.
