Review summary

I go on several cruises with Carnival. This was my least favorite ship as far as lay out. It is also not group conducive as far as scheduling dining at a particular time. I do give a way to go to the matridee for working so well with us to get us seated together. Alos Dawe was a great waiter. With the my time dining it hurts the wait staff tips because we dont have the same staff ever night. Food was good. The Shipsey Kings were awesome. Need to have more country music options and thrown in for line dancers!!! Cruise director Mark made the cruise he was awesome!!!! Bonnie the shopper was also great.

we link our rooms together before the cruise so we can eat together at the same table.

chrispycream, I agree with a small group on 1 or 2 cabins we do the same. but with large groups it's a headache

pouncy20th, if you will go to the booking station as soon as they open at 530 and tell them what you need and you are all ready to go in 15 min for dinner they will arrange it. then after dinner the 1st night soead with the matradee and tell him you want same time ever night and give him all cabin numbers and you agree you will be there each night on time he will arrange it for you. just takes some extra work from the early and late schedule where it's all planned ahead.

like the breeze and dream. this has some simular things like red frog, blue ignuna , Guys burgers and taco stand. all are same. don't like not having the extra dinning area for my time dining and don't like how you have to go so far on 1 floor the change to another floor to get where you want to go on some areas. don't like there's not the glass elevators in middle where you can see the atrium levels.

Tnewell336, I have 50'people going with us for our 20th anniversary celebration. I have been told that dining together is already a problem. What are your suggestions for nightly group dining?

We only do "your time dining" and we always ask for the same server once we find a great one. Sometimes it takes a night or two before you find that really good one who makes you feel special, but once you do you can always ask for them when you walk in.

Had an amazing time on the 11 day Carnival Vista inaugural journey cruise. (Nov. 5, 2016). Yes too few elevators and yes the interior cabins are smaller. However my travel companions and I simply had an amazing time. Tons of food choices, entertainment staff, Matt. , Cookie, Nono, Eden and others were top - the best. I laughed the entire time and they made us all feel special. We danced, laughed, did crafts, took classes on photography and Astronomy, cooking demonstrations, and trivia It was all I needed and then some. I loved the new decor of the ship the art work, lighting was impressive. I did dislike that the shows were in the same space as the club and the seating was weird. But all of that was so minor in comparison to this marvelous vacay! The performers were awesome and took extra care to great guest. Please go to Cloud 9, JiJi's, Fahrenheit 555, the lobster rolls in the seafood shack unbelievable!!! Again this cruise was the best ever for me and the carnival hub app was the best it allowed us all to chat for $5 for the entire cruise and it also has your activities with reminders, locations for everything, your photos and account summary. I could really go on forever. Carnival did an amazing job with embarkation and luggage. So impressive. It was the best cruise ever!!!!!!!
