Review summary

I GUESS THE CRUISE DIRECTOR WAS THE BEST PART OF VISTA

I WAS NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE SHIP EXCEPT FOR THE SHOWER AND THE SKYRIDE

FOOD WAS DISAPPOINTING AND WE WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER GO ON A CRUISE AGAIN WITH ANYTIME DINING. WE REQUESTED TIME AFTER TIME TO THE LATE DINING AND COULD NEVER GET IT. VERY UNORGANIZED TO GO TO ONE DECK TO STAND IN LINE THEN GET A BUZZER AND GO TO ANOTHER DECK TO WAIT ONLY TO BE TOLD NOW TO GO TO ANOTHER DECK TO EAT. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING.

THE EXCURSIONS WERE GREAT AND THE STEWARD WAS ALSO.

I have found that ever since the Cruise lines put prepaid gratuities in place, the service has gotten to be just mediocre. Why? Because the employees know they are getting good tips at the end of the week and don't have to put in any extra effort. When the cruisers had control of what they were going to tip I found the service much better! We always overtipped for excellent service. Now I am paying gratuities for service that is not so good!

We have been on several cruises with anytime dining we never had a problem. I'm going on the Vista for the first time April 18th I hope I like it!

Sorry you were so disappointed with Your Time Dining. We have chosen it for all of our cruises and had nothing but great experiences, with no waits at all. On our upcoming Sunshine cruise, I indestand we will pick up a number or buzzer or something on one deck and then go to the MDR on another deck. It will be interesting to see how we feel about that experience.

We always book early seating, being old folk on the ship but I have heard nothing but bad things about "Anytime Dining". It's "anytime" all right...Anytime THEY want!

We just got back from being on the Vista last week. We had anytime dining and walked right in the Horizon restaurant. Only got a buzzer once and waited 5 minutes. Unfortunately it took 2 hours to eat as they were so slow with everything. Missed a few shows because of it.

I do any time dining because I'm not really set on a time from day to day / I get dressed,go down to check in and if have to wait no problem, wait till they call me and go and enjoy dinner /am I wrong to not get upset???? If I wanted a set time I would do that.

We went a couple weeks back. Any Time dining went great. You do check-in at a location such as the Blue Java Cafe. We never had to wait...ship was fantastic !

i too havecany time dining and I've cruised numerous times. I thought that meant you go whenever you want and ifvypu specifically wanted late dining, then you had to sign up for late dining. Well we leave tomorrow and I pray that the dining issues aren't the same.
