We left Miami and were in Key West the next day, arrived early, if you have a balcony room it’s nice to have some coffee out on the balcony and watch as you arrive into the port. KeyWest is NOT built for beaches, the only decent beach you had to pay for. The water stinks like rotten eggs, sulfur build up from algae. Once you arrive in port there are tons of modes of transportation and excursions to do. We rented a golf cart type vehicle and explored the island. Pretty neat, rich history. It’s worth going to.
Embarkation

Pretty cool port, overlooking the city Miami. It’s a short walk to the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Overall, the food was just ok. If you like sushi the sushi stand is really good, the selection isn’t great but it’s still very tasty and fresh. Guys burgers is pretty good. The main buffet area is really crowded and the food is average.
Onboard Activities

The fitness center is ok, some machines there are only one of, so you have guys that sit on it and hawk the machines. Kinda like being at your home gym. Overall though it serves its purpose. They have things like trivia, bingo, etc;
Entertainment

Music Asia is a great band. They’re entertaining and good musicians. They play in the casino. Stand up comedians are pretty funny.

Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Not a very fair rating considering the ship is going through dry dock and will be upgraded this year. However, it is an older ship, there have been larger and more upgraded ships built. Overall, it is a great ship for a first time cruiser or a few days to get away. Cleaning service was not very good, there were a couple days where our room hadn’t been cleaned. We continued to run out of towels and wash cloths and always had to call them wait for someone to bring them.

Ship tip
The back of the ship tended to be more laid back, the front has a DJ and is pretty much a non stop party. Both ends of the ship have pools and hot tubs.
