Review summary

Tropical depression for the whole cruise . Too many hidden fees . Poor service on and off the ship . Will never sail again and that's consistent feeling among all 7 guests we traveled with .

Says right up front 15% gratuity. Too bad you didn't enjoy it, my group had a blast!

Read your booking information! Everything is clearly printed on it for you regarding gratuities included.

You can adjust your gratuity especially if u had been tipping the whole time.Gratuity can be changed to your discretion..

Hey op. Read much? Gratuities are not hidden. Did you expect everything to be included/free. You must be a thrill to be around. In 15+ cruises, we've never encountered rude staff. Perhaps it was you. And I can see a tropical storm bring the cruiselines fault too. Perhaps staying at home watching Laurence Welk reruns on TV suits you better for a vacation option.

Cruises are not cheap. Having fun is not cheap. Most cruises take into consideration that families with minors are there, and put some events for you. If you want family friendly, do Disney’s cruise. Carnival cruise is pretty much what it implies, adult oriented with some areas for minors. If you’re not reading the fine print, you won’t know about all the fees, and that Serenity is the adult section because minors take up the hot tubs in every cruise.

The gratuities are not hidden. When you logged into your cruise after you book the option is available for your to prepay them so they are far from hidden. I hate that you didn't like the trip, but cruising isn't for everyone. At least now you know what you like.

I had a wonderful time & all the crew were superior & helpful. Cant wait till I get another cruise.
