Review summary

Overall, this cruise was awesome! Well, any cruise that is. The Behind the Fun excursion was also a great experience involved. We enjoy being on the ocean, up on the decks to relax and just soak it all in. The food throughout can be improved but nothing unbearable. Guys burger was just OK and I miss being able to serve our own fries previously. I had fun in the casino winning $950 the first night and receiving the free drink pkg after racking up 1,000 points. The shows are always good. My girlfriend loves the candy stores Cherry on Top. Nothing to complain about the excursions as all were enjoyed and as always, it's sad to leave the ship but all fun things must come to an end. Unfortunately! We've been on the Victory twice so we are looking forward to the other ships. Even though there may be some things on the cruise that may not be to your liking...but....enjoy and make the most of it and relax. It is a vacation after all. Otherwise, you can pay for my next one.

Talk about fast! Went through secruity quick and then Guest Services to put funds on our account with a breeze. Seems Carnival is making some good changes here.

Buffet wasn't so hot and the dining room was OK, so so. Loved the Chop Stix as always, taste is great if you like Chinese style food. Loved the Bonsai Sushi Express as well.

The service by the staff are always excellent! Friendly and personable. Our steward was fantastic as well, did a great job keeping our stateroom clean and was disheartened when we didn't do 1 day of cleaning.

Love the ship it self..been on it twice but the hated that the floors to the dining areas were not connected. Had to go up a floor, across, and then down the elevator...but the rest of the layout was enjoyable and always clean. The smell that some complain about was nothing big...you move past it and move on.

For some reason the time at port was very short 730am-130pm so my girlfiend and I made the best of it..rented a gold cart and toured the island ourselves and nothing to complain about. Was disapponted I couldn't eat seafood I wanted because of the time so rushed but I had key lime pie..mmmmm and she had key lime ice cream she said it was good. We went around the island somewhat and felt a little silly so we followed others with carts so we weren't the only ones feeling silly. Wanted to go to Hogfish but was way out on US-1 about 5-6 miles out from the main area but the golf cart couldn't keep up with the cars going by so fast so we turned around. The only downfall was the amount of time spent at this port. Any port spent at less than 8 hours is a waste. Some stores were closed and by the time they opened, we had to get back to the ship. But overall, it was a good experience.

Cozumel, Mexico

Although it was raining/cloudy at times, our excursion to Pasion Island was an awesome experience. The food wasn't so bad, free drinks were a little watered down like some stated but it was OK. The ride on the catamaran was fun and watching everyone having fun was great to see. The beach was clean, people just doing their own thing and some played games and funny. This was the All-inclusive spent 3 hours there and just relaxed and laid on the chair and soaked it all in. Kayaks were available for use and hammocks for relaxation as well. The ride on the catamaran were 45 minutes each way and tour guides were funny and personable and very interactive- Jorge and Anid (sp?) This trip was May 21-25 2018.
